We're in!

I know I have left you all in suspense for a few weeks, wondering if our move was completed and how we like our new house….  We are all thrilled with the house and each day is a joy to be here!  The move was hectic but with the help of many friends it was done quickly.  It was the most disorganized I have ever been for a move but it was also the fastest that we have been moved in with boxes unpacked (since I didn't use any).

Here are pictures mostly from this morning.  Lots of decorating, organizing and arranging that need to happen still.  Also I have tons of room for more books….yeah!

We're ready!

Six months since breaking ground, our house is finally ready for us!  Here are the pictures of a clean, mostly finished, house (the stairs still need more painting).  Tomorrow is the big move!!

The moving date is set for this Saturday.  This week there is more painting to be done, closets systems to be installed, carpet to be installed and the house to be cleaned!

Last week was spent on preparing for the final inspection, finishing electric and plumbing, porch steps, front railing, grading around the house (thank goodness for a couple of warmer days!) and I painted the interior of the garage.
